Orthophosphoric acid is an inorganic acid of medium strength. Its chemical formula is H3PO4, designation as a food additive is E338. Phosphoric acid – colorless hygroscopic crystals, well soluble in water (as a rule, its 85% solution is called orthophosphoric acid).
