PLASTIC FILTERS

When using groundwater or tap water, it is recommended to use a mesh or disk filters.

Also these types of filters are installed as control after a sand-gravel filter station. The quality of water treatment does not depend on the type of filter (mesh or disk). It depends on the mesh parameter. This is the size of the opening (cell) of the filter element. For most drip tapes, this parameter should not be lower than 120 mesh (125 microns or 0.130 mm). Disk filters, in comparison with mesh, are more reliable and have a longer service life of the filter element (cartridge).

Washing of this type of filter is associated with stopping the filtration process, because The filter elements must be removed from the housings and washed manually.

Before installing the filter, you should pay attention to the arrow on the case. In the mesh and disk filters, the input and output are located on different sides, so placing the disk cartridge in the housing from the screen filter or vice versa is undesirable, due to differences in design.

Mesh and disk filters do not provide for the purification of water from an open reservoir from organic particles and compounds, in whatever quantity or combination they are used.

Characteristics of plastic filters:
